Anna Paquin was born in New Zealand and raised in Canada. She is an actor from New Zealand, Canada that has appeared in various films including X-Men, X-Men, and Fly Away Home. The fate had decided to cast her as an actor. She turned down many job offers after the success of her first film in order to further her studies. She returned to film at the age of 14 to portray her role as the character of the mutant Rogue in X-Men which was the very first film in the X-Men film series. Her role in the film brought international fame to her. The character was reprised for the subsequent sequels X2: X-Men: The Last Stand and The Second Stand of X-Men. After a few months, she started receiving numerous requests to be cast in various television shows. Her first appearance was in the series 'True blood' as well as the show 'Flack'.
